Welcome to alumni.mlacw.edu.in website. The following are the terms of service for using this website. Please read them carefully. By initiating or by completing the registration process in this website or by accessing members' database, or by accessing any information provided for the members only, or by using any service this website provides, you are stating that you fully read and understand and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions of the service without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein:


MLACW (also referred to as MLACW Alumni Association, MLACW-Online, www.alumni.mlacw.edu.in, or alumni.mlacw.edu.in) provides its services to you, subject to the following Terms of Service (TOS), which may be updated by us from time to time without any notice to you. You can review the most current version of the TOS at any time at a link provided in the MLACW homepage.


MLACW is exclusive website created for MLACWians (a current student or an alumni or a teaching staff or a support staff of MLACW College Bangluru, Karnataka, India) and service provided by MLACW is strictly for MLACWians only. No other individual, company, college, group, or entity other than the MLACWians can access or use any service MLACW provides or register at MLACW . MLACW currently provides users with access to a collection of resources of its on-line members, including, e-mail addresses, postal addresses and other personal details of its members. MLACW also provides web access to its users to register online and update their information. Other service may include, but not limited to, group mail facility, search feature, database visualization features, etc. In addition to the above, MLACW may also provide information about the MLACW College , its staff and students, and periodic announcements and updates about MLACW website or any other requests, notices which MLACW feels important. In addition, you may also receive any other mails sent by its members using the group mail feature of MLACW. You must be a current student or alumni or a teaching staff or a support staff of MLACW College  Karnataka, India, to use any service MLACW provides. You understand and agree that the service is provided "AS-IS" and that MLACW assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, timeliness, suitability, deletion, failure to store or protect any information, prevention of unauthorized use, unavailability of service any time.


In consideration of your use of the service, you agree to:
1. Provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the service's registration form, and
2. Maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or MLACW has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, MLACW has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the service (or any portion thereof).


You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to immediately notify MLACW of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security. MLACW cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising.


You understand that you are entirely responsible for your action at MLACW-Online, for all information (data, graphics, text, etc.) that you provide, receive post, email or otherwise transmit using the service. MLACW does not control the content received or posted as a result of using the service and, as such, does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such content. Under no circumstances will MLACW be liable in any way for any content, including, but not limited to, for any errors or omissions in any content, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed or otherwise transmitted as a result of obtaining any information from MLACW service. You acknowledge that MLACW does not pre-screen content, but that MLACW and its designees shall have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to refuse or move any information that is available via the service. Without limiting the foregoing, MLACW and its designees shall have the right to remove or modify any information at any time with or without notice.


Recognizing the global nature of the Internet, you agree to comply with all local rules regarding online conduct and acceptable content. Specifically, you agree to comply with all applicable laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported from the country in which you reside.


You agree to indemnify and hold MLACW, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, individuals, agents, co-branders or other partners, and people, web sites harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of information you submit, receive, post to or transmit through the service, your use of the service, your connection to the service, your violation of the tos, or your violation of any rights of another.


The subscription fee is non refundable and not transferable. The account usage can by discontinued by member or account can be terminated by the MLACW-Online (website) without any refund to member. No warranty and guaranty of service. The MLACW-Online plans to use the subscription fee or any donations received for further development and enhancement of website (MLACW-Online) and / or for various alumni / college or any social or any other activities as necessary or as appropriate or as needed or as desired. However, the members or users are not entitled for any financial details of the MLACW-Online or question or direct or insist or demand on how the subscription money can or will or is used by the MLACW-Online. The members and users of the service will fully indemnify and hold harmless MLACW-Online (alumni.mlacw.edu.in), affiliates, subsidiaries, owners, operators, representatives, agents, staff, and suppliers from and against all liabilities, claims, expenses, damages and losses, including legal fees (on an indemnity basis), arising out of or in connection with the MLACW-Online or any related services and / or facilities.


MLACW reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that MLACW shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, addition or discontinuance of the service (or any part thereof).


You agree that MLACW, in its sole discretion, may terminate your password, account (or any part thereof) or use of the service, and remove and discard any content within the service, for any reason with or without notice and further you agree that MLACW shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to the service.


The information provided, not limited to, contact information such as e-mail, URL link, work or home or permanent address, phone numbers, data of birth, or any other personal information of MLACW members must be used "AS IS". Also any such information you provide to MLACW will be available to other members.
You acknowledge and agree that any information you provide to MLACW can be accessed and used by other members. You acknowledge and agree that MLACW has no control over such information or sites or resources members provide and MLACW is not responsible and does not endorse or liable for any content. You further acknowledge and agree that MLACW shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with submission to MLACW, use of or reliance on any such content, information.


You acknowledge and agree that the service and any necessary software used in connection with the service ("software") contain proprietary and confidential information that is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. You agree not to reverse assemble, break, hack, modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, abuse, distribute or create derivative works based on the service or the software, in whole or in part.


1. Your use of the service is at your sole risk. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. MLACW expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
2. MLACW makes no warranty that:
  • i.The service will meet your requirements,
  • ii.The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free,
  • iii. The results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable,
  • iv. The Quality Of Any Services, Information, Or Other Material Obtained By You Through The Service Will Meet Your Expectations, And
  • v. Any errors in the software or information will be corrected.
  • vi. Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the service is done at your own discretion.
  • vi. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from MLACW or through from the service shall create any warranty not expressly stated in the tos.


You expressly understand and agree that MLACW shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if MLACW has been).
1. The use or the inability to use the service.
2. The cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the service,
3. Unauthorized Access To Or Alteration Of Your Transmissions Or Data
4. Statements Or Conduct Of Any Third Party On Or Using The Service; Or
5. Any Other Matter Relating To The Service


The TOS constitute the entire agreement between you and MLACW and govern your use of the service, superseding any prior or other agreements between you and MLACW. You also may be subject to additional terms and conditions that may apply when you use affiliate services, third party content or third party software. The failure of MLACW to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the TOS shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of the TOS is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of the TOS remain in full force and effect. You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of the service or the TOS must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred.
The section titles in the TOS are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.

The idea of creating a MLACW Online community was conceived and implemented by distinguished MLACW Alumni.
Though there are a few websites to locate people and for social networking, but they fail to meet specific needs of the MLACW community. Since there was no single website designed and developed exclusively for the MLACW Alumni needs, it was decided to create one. When the initial version was completed, the response was tremendously encouraging from the MLACW Alumni all over the world. Also the principals of MLACW, and other alumni leaders appreciated the effort.

AKANKSHA Presents- ENVISION 2018, February 19th & 20th

The luminous community “AKANKSHA” Students’ Association was formed in the year 2005 with endeavours to develop competence through versatile activities. It is a platform for students to develop their skills in management, leadership, communication, negotiation, time management and team building. ENVISION Inter Collegiate Fest was started in 2007, to address the multiple challenges faced by students in the corporate world. Since then business related events have been conducted which enhances the students’ inter personal skills and realize their potential to compete with various colleges with a healthy spirit. In times of crisis, different people react in different ways. Some might try to escape while others might attempt to batten down the natches and ride out the storm in a safe heaven. Testimonial from Ms Deeksha Holla It is with great pride that I say I was a student of BCA(2014-2017) at mLAC. I have secured 100//100 in UNIX. I was awarded Dr. Rama.M.A cash prize for being the Topper of final year BCA. The college has various add-on courses where I have secured Distinction in “Data Care Management” in both certificate and Diploma level. The college had organized a 2-day workshop on “Android App Development” for the benefit of students for which I received a certificate from IIT Bombay. The college also conducts Intercollegiate cultural fests where I have secured first place in Best out of waste and second place in Pencil Sketching in TARANGINI-2017. I express my sincere gratitude for the tireless efforts of my professors and faculty members which helped me to secure the 9th rank in BCA from Bangalore University.

BCA students Won Prizes in Lowry Memorial College Fest – ILUMINA-2017

Students of final year BCA, Ms. Sharvani P. R., Ms. Deepa R. and Ms. Arundhathi J secured Second Prize for the event Treasure Hunt. Ms. Arundhathi J secured First Prize for the event Best Manager. The fest ILUMINA-2017 is organized by Lowry Memorial College, Bangalore on 27th September, 2017.

Prof. Sreevalli H Bhat of Department of Computer Science, mLAC as a Resource person

Prof. Sreevalli H Bhat of Department of Computer Science, participated as a Resource person to showcase Adamya Chetana’s green initiatives. Adamya Chetana is a voluntary organisation working in the field of social development. Registered in 1998, it has been set up in the memory of Smt. Girija Shastry, mother of Shri AnanthKumar, Union Cabinet Minister and MP from Bangalore (South), who dedicated her life to serving the poor and the underprivileged. She also attended two days training program in the Nature Science Internship Program organized by IISc and Adamya Chetana for the 15 selected schools on 22nd and 23rd July 2017. She was felicitated by Shri AnanthKumar, on 22nd September 2017 at RV Teachers’ College Auditorium in a function jointly.

Ms. Chaitra M S of II year BCA participated in Group Dance (Bharatnatyam) organised by Yuva Sambhrama 2017 for world famous Mysore Dasara festival held between 12 th September 2017 and 18th September 2017, at Maana Gangotri Open Air Theatre, Mysore.

II BCA students Won Second Prize for paper presentation in National Level Seminar

Students of Second year BCA, Ms. LINTA JOHN, Ms. DHANYA REDDY G and Ms. DARSHNA A PATEL presented a paper on “Security Towards Confidential Data and Hacking” and secured Second Prize in National Level Seminar organized by RJS First Grade College, Bangalore on 15th September 2017.

Guest Lecture on “SPECTROSCOPY” by Chemistry department

Guest lecture on Spectroscopy was conducted by the Department Of Chemistry on 14th of September, 2017 for the students of BSc. III and V semester. The programme commenced with a welcome address, activities of the Chemistry Forum and the introduction of the speaker by Dr. Nagalaxmi B.N. The resource person Dr. Venkatesha M.A. from IISc, Bangalore, spoke about UV, IR and NMR spectroscopy. In UV spectroscopy, he emphasized upon the types of electronic transitions and the effect of conjugation in organic compounds. In IR spectroscopy, stretching and bending modes of vibrations and fingerprint region was highlighted. In NMR spectroscopy, the number of signals with respect to equivalent and non-equivalent protons, position of signals, shielding and de-shielding of protons, spin-spin splitting and spin-spin coupling was dealt in detail by taking examples of ethyl bromide, ethanol and alkyl chlorides in general. Spectra of these compounds were also discussed. Prof. Nussarath Zareen delivered the vote of thanks.
