Samagatha -Science Association, mLAC an amalgamation of nine Science departments has been organizing National Level Conferences and hands-on
workshops under the banner of Star College, DBT, Government of India. In the year 2019, mLAC has been selected by DBT to organize events under the scheme of “Popularizing Science” to spread the importance and essence of basic science to undergraduate and pre- graduate students. Also, the
year 2019 marks the 150th anniversary of the periodic table and has been declared as the International Year of Periodic Table (IYPT). In commemoration of the same “Samagatha” is organizing a lecture series and Intercollegiate competition on the theme “ Periodic Table” on 17th & 18th October 2019.
