Public lectures were organised on the topic Climate change by department of Zoology. The active participation of audience contributed to meaningfulness of the lectures.

Kulkarni, Distinguished scientist, Divecha Centre for Climate Change, Indian Institute of Science were organized on April 8 th 2022
Event was organised in blended mode where few audiences also participated in online mode (Zoom and Youtube).
The event started by planting the sapling from the guests, Principal Dr Shashikala A and HOD Prof. Aruna H K followed by lectures of Prof. J. Srinivasan on topic “The science of Climate change” and Dr. Anil V. Kulkarni on topic “Climate change and Himalayan Glaciers”
Lectures were very interactive as students asked many questions.
