The webinar was conducted on 5th May’2022 from 9:00AM to 4:30PM. The event started by lighting the lamp. Welcome address was given by Prof. Pratibha M which was followed by Presidential address by the Principal, Dr. Shashikala A.
Webinar started with the first session by Mr. Ravi Prakash who introduced by telling the need for python there by providing its applications or usage like Amazon, chatbot, weather forecast etc. He also spoke about few tools like pip which is used to install external module. He also introduced about python which includes high level datatypes like list, tuple, running python programs interactively by showing few hands on sessions by importing library gtts (from gTTs) which converts text to audio, identifying various cards like visa, master and many more.
Second session was held by Mr. Chetan Shetty with hands on so as to expose the participants to gain practical knowledge. He introduced about numPy, pandas, series, Dataframe, panel by providing live examples. He spoke about model building by taking KNN algorithms as an example. He gave multiple examples for numerical and categorical. He showed procedure to install pandas profiling.
Third session was by Dr. Bharathi S who introduced about research by using human intelligence artificially by giving live examples which includes need and importance. She gave an insight on machine learning, Artificail intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Robotics, Neuron structure, need and applications of machine learning, python in the field of research, Tensorflow, SciPy, NumPy, MatPlotLib, Keras, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, Beautiful soup, Python statistics module. She also showed live videos which helps participants in gaining more towards the application.
