mLAC NCC Air Wing

The mLAC-1 KAR AIR SQN NCC is a vibrant and disciplined student organization aimed at developing character, comradeship, and leadership among youth. Established with the vision of fostering a spirit of patriotism and national service, the NCC provides students with opportunities for personal growth, teamwork, and physical fitness through military-style training and community service.

Purpose:

The primary aim of the NCC is to instill discipline, leadership qualities, and a sense of national pride among students while preparing them to be responsible citizens and future leaders of the nation.

Key Objectives:

  • To develop character, discipline, leadership, and a spirit of adventure among students.
  • To create a human resource of organized, trained, and motivated youth ready to serve the nation in emergencies.
  • To provide leadership in all walks of life and serve as a potential reserve for the Armed Forces.
  • To promote values of selfless service, teamwork, and national integration.
  • To encourage participation in various NCC camps, parades, and national-level events such as RDC and AIVSC.
  • To foster unity and discipline through community development and social service activities.

Activities:

The NCC Air Wing conducts regular parades, drills, and weapon training to instil discipline and leadership. Cadets receive aero-modelling and flying training sessions to build aviation skills. They participate in Combined Annual Training Camps (CATC), Vayu Sainik Camps (VSC), and adventure activities such as trekking and parasailing. The unit also engages in community service programs, national day celebrations, and awareness drives, helping cadets grow as disciplined, responsible, and patriotic citizens.
