Overview
Botany is a core subject of Biological Sciences and the forefather of many applied subjects. Plants are of paramount importance to human existence, providing food, medicine, shelter, and environmental sustenance. The M.Sc. Botany program at mLAC combines rigorous academic study with practical laboratory components and workshops.
The curriculum includes the study of morphology, anatomical structures, biochemical processes, plant classification, and the interaction of plants with their physical environments. Students are encouraged to engage in active research throughout the program.
Eligibility
- B.Sc. with Life Science subjects, having Botany as a core subject.
- A minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university or institution.
- Final year students awaiting results are eligible to apply (must clear before admission finalization).
