Seed Funding Projects

The institution provides seed funding to encourage faculty members to initiate research work and develop preliminary results for major external grant proposals. This initiative nurtures a culture of innovation and academic excellence within the campus.

Note: ONE copy of the proposal comprising Part A and Part B must be submitted to:

Format for Minor Research Project Proposal

A PART-A: Investigator Information

  • 1. Primary Investigator: Name, Position, Dept, Qualifications, Joining Date, Experience.
  • 2. Co-Investigator: Intra-departmental or Inter-disciplinary collaborations are preferred.

B PART-B: Project Proposal Details

Proposal must be under 5 pages and include:

Rules and Regulations

Financial assistance is provided for items like books, journals, equipment, contingency, hiring services, consumables, and fieldwork.

Non-Recurring Grants

Expenses required on a one-time basis for proposed research work.

  • Equipment/Books: Provided to obtain necessary journals and journals.
  • Re-appropriation: Incremental costs can be met from savings under non-recurring heads with Principal's approval.
  • Submission: Post-project, all equipment and books must be submitted to the college library/department.
  • Note: Currently no separate provision for mLAC teachers.

Recurring Grants

Operational expenses claimed under contingency and consumables.

  • Contingency: Covers Photostat, Stationery, Internet, Fax, Postage, and Computation.
  • Consumables: Glassware and chemicals for various Research Laboratories.
  • Special Needs: Assistance for requirements not covered under other heads.
  • Field Work: For data collection and library visits (not for conferences/training).
