The department of Botany has started with M.Sc Botany from the academic year 2022-23. The course was officially inaugurated on 28th November 2022 at 11 am in Dr. K.N.V. Sastri auditorium. The chief guest for the inauguration was Dr. R. Sundararaj, Scientist - I from IWST Bengaluru. The guest of honour were Dr. L. Rajanna, Professor, Dept. of Botany, Bangalore University and CA Shubha Ganesh, Entrepeuner, Founder, Moneyshiksha. The program was presided by Dr Nagalaxmi B.N., Principal, Dr. Annadanesh B.A., Administrative officer, and Professor Sharmistha Dutta, HOD Dept of Botany, IQAC Co-ordinator.
