Seminar on CDS and NDA

On 16^th November 2022, a Career workshop was organized by the History Department, in Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women, Autonomous in association with CADETO INDIA DEFENCE ACADEMY. Mr. Rakesh Ramesh, Ex-IPS Officer and Mr. Thomson Prince W were the resource person for seminar, students from various combination took part in it. The seminar was divided into two session that were held on 16^th November 2022.  Session I for PU Arts students- 11:00AM – 12:00 PM and Session II for PU Commerce students- 12pm to 1pm

The main objective about this seminar was to bring awareness among the girl students of various opportunities in defence forces. There were interactive sessions and a comparative discussion on the availability of jobs for girls in this modern era. In this session students learnt about the NDA exams and were a part of Quiz to make them understand the importance of their ability to attend NDA exams.  At the end of the session the students cleared their enquires and showed interest in trying for defence. The seminar ended with grant success.
