Department of Zoology, mLAC organised a workshop on Dermatoglyphics on 13th July 2023 from 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm in the F5 room. The topic was in the practical paper 7 syllabus. To give the hands on about the topic to the student, this workshop was organised. The session started with a brief introduction about Ms.Priya M D, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, Nrupathunga University.
Ms. Priya addressed the gathering about importance of Dermatoglyphics and the started with the demonstration by making the student take the imprint of their palm and fingers from the ink pad. Students were very excited to know about science behind their fingerprint and how their intelligence level was tested.
The workshop was mainly oriented towards understanding the fingerprints i.e., the patterns along with palm print for ATD angle to check students intelligence level.
Later in conclusion, students were motivated by saying that this patterns of intelligence can be improved by hard work and perseverance by Principal Dr.Nagalaxmi B N. She also took part in the workshop along with UUCMS coordinator Ft. Lt. Harish, Research Coordinator Dr.Sushil Kumar Middha and Academic Coordinator Dr, Jyolitha A B
Students gave positive feedback about the session and referred it as very informative workshop.
