“Visit to Microscopy Facility, IISc” by 1st year M.Sc. Zoology students

Department of Zoology, mLAC organised a visit for 1^st Semester M.Sc. Zoology students as a part of their laboratory course curriculum on 1^st February 2024 from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm at Microscopy Facility, Division of Biological Sciences, IISc, Bangalore. The visit in microscopy facility started with an introduction about the Confocal Microscope Leica Falcon, its working principle and followed by the demonstration of fluorescence staining procedure of tissues and imaging. In total 13 1^st Semester M.Sc Zoology students went for the visit.

The visit ended by vote of thanks by Ms. Kavyashree R.K  and Dr. Saborni Roy, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology to the resource persons. Students gave positive feedback about the visit and they submitted a report on the same as a part of their course curriculum.
