Department of Political Science organized a special talk on 26th November 2021 to mark the celebration of Constitution day. November 26 is observed as Constitution Day or 'Samvidhan Diwas' every year, which commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India. On November 26, 1949, the Constitution was adopted and it came into effect on January 26, 1950.
On this special occasion Guest Speakers Mr.N.Harish, Advocate and Member of B.PAC, Political Analyst, Parliamentary expert and Mrs.Veena Gowda, Advocate and Civil Leader [B.CLIP] were invited.
The session comprised of;
- Display of the original Book of the Constitution of India.
- Video Presentation on short film on the Architect of the Constitution. “Dr.B.R.Ambedkar”.
- History of Framing of the Constitution
- Preamble and its interpretation.
- Taking oath to abide by the Constitution. (by reciting the Preamble)
