Cultural history of Karnataka- Folk Dance Performance by NELASOGADU

On 15^th July 2022, the Department of History in association with the “Nelasogadu” Social and Cultural Association organized an event depicting the Tradition and Culture of Karnataka at Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women Autonomous, under the banner of Amrit Mahotsav, in the college quadrangle. The event aligned with the 4^th Semester NEP History Syllabus Paper Title- “Cultural History of Karnataka”. The highlight of this event was that about 120 artists including 80 students performed in the different cultural dance forms of Karnataka.

The students of RV College had taken part in the dance performances in association with Nelasogadu artists.
