A talk was arranged on topic “Traveller’s tale of Lantana and other plants” by the department and to trace the journey of Lantana and other new comers and see what their presence means for the plants, animals, and people in its new home

Lantana Elephants – life-size models of Elephants made out of Lantana camara, an invasive weed that restricts the growth of indigenous vegetation was displayed in the campus in a bid to spread awareness on Coexistence
The management , principal, Staff and students appreciated the department for this initiative and also took photos with the Lantana Elephant.
