On 14th September 2023, 58 students with 3 faculties went for a field visit to “Kalkere Arboretum and Bangalore Bannerghatta Biological Park.” We arrived to Kalkere Arboretum at 7:20am, it was hosted by Miss. Surabhi and Mr. Rahul from WWF, we were guided throughout the trail who explained in details about the place this helped students with better knowledge about the nature. After the nature walk students were taken to Bannerghatta Biological Park around 10:40am followed by Butterfly Park here students visualized varieties of organisms.
The trail to arboretum was one of the memorable experiences as students got an insight about the vegetation and the fauna of the large deciduous forest amidst the highly populated urban locality.
A visit to zoological park was an amazing experience for students as they were exposed to a variety of organisms. The knowledge about different species of butterflies was gained by the students.
Our trip ended about 5:30pm, it can be conclude that the trip was successful.
