The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has issued a mandatory new directive for all covered establishments to ensure greater transparency.

What is the new rule? Employers must now prominently display an extract of Form 5A. You can choose to display this extract either:
- At the physical entrance of your establishment
- OR on your official website along with your mobile application
What details must the Form 5A extract include? Make sure the displayed extract clearly shows the following five details:
- EPF Code
- Registered Name
- Date of Coverage
- Number of Branches & Primary Branch Address
- Regional Office
⏳ Important Deadline & Penalties: Employers are required to comply with this order within 15 days of its issuance (the order is dated October 6/7, 2025). Please prioritize this, as non-compliance may attract legal action under the EPF & MP Act, 1952.
