The Academic Heart of the Campus

The Central Library & Information Centre at Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women (mLAC) is a dynamic, fully automated hub of knowledge and research. Guided by the Library Advisory Committee (LAC) and supported by a robust annual budget of Rs. 10 Lakhs, our library is continuously expanding to meet the evolving needs of our academic community.
We proudly manage a massive physical repository of over 66,723 volumes and 33,500 titles, alongside more than 60 specialized UG and PG journals. To ensure seamless operations and rapid discovery for our 200+ daily visitors, the library is fully automated using EASYLIB Cloud Version 6.4(a) software, complete with an Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) and digital dashboard systems for Current Awareness services.
As we look toward the future, the library is actively transitioning toward fully AI-driven digital concepts and integration with the prestigious NDLI Club.
